It's time for me to express my gratitude again.
Please forgive this momentary lapse into sentimentality.
I have been doing some cleanup and rework of scripts and also adding some functions to monitor various activities on my shard and in doing so I have delved into my library of scripts, include files and documentation. I have acquired many many utility functions and packages that have been written by dozens of people. Some who are no longer working with POL. I just want to take this opportunity to thank those I can remember for their contribution. Some names may be incorrect or mis-spelled and if so I apologize.
Thank you...
Sigismund. It is a strange bit of wordplay that it was his shard, Journey's End where I actually began my UO journey. I know JE wasn't his original creation but I knew it as his. Thanks to you also for your necromancy package, the clerics package that Austin took and organized and added to and for several utility functions that bear your name that I use.
Doc and Bishop Ebonhand for starting Safari, later renamed to Journey's End. I believe they started it if not then forgive me. Thanks Bishop for your work on "Distros gone by".
Mithril for his contributions in scripts.
Charles Haustron and Louds for their alchemy system.
Myrathi for his work on POL core and Distro and contributions of utilities and scripts.
MadmanATW for the work he did on POL.
Folko for his utilities and functions.
Drocket for the World of Dreams scripts.
Racalac for his work on POL, his bard package, his excellent documentation for POL 0.95 and his help when I needed advice.
Melanius for the times when he answered my questions on the forums.
Birdy for the work he has done on POL
Shinigami for his version of World Forge, his answers to my many questions, his work on the core and his spawn rune system even if most of the comments were in German.
*grins*
Marilla for his help and teaching. Yeah I mean you. Sometimes you just have to suffer us fools.
*smiles*
CWO for his input and answers to my questions.
Austin for the release of TSSE, his work on the Distro for 0.96 and 0.97 and for the countless utility functions I keep finding with his name on them. You have been a great help. Oh and yes there is such a thing as being too organized Austin.
Maud Dib whose very name is a weapon for the release of Icrontic, his work on the core, his advice and answers to my many questions and his suffering my moments of total idiocy in giving help to people.
Syzygy... what can be said but thanks for starting it all. Without you POL would not have happened. It was fortuitous for me that you chose a language or rather created a language that was close to one I knew, Pascal. The similarity made it easier for me to slip into scripting in POL.
I drew some of the names above from the core changes log, the POL forums and "maintaner" info in packages as well as other sources so there could be refferences to the same individuals under different aliases. If so, once again, forgive me and feel free to post corrections.
I invite anyone else to add to this list.
Again, thanks to those who have helped me when I needed it.
