ok, the thing is that I need some BASIC instructions on how to start my own server. I'll do it just for fun, maybe some neighbours will join. I just wanted to know what I need to download? After I download it all, what do I need to do?
Very basic, remember. Maybe I'll study it after a while.
look at the downloads section and download the 095 installer..
after that you start reading documentations about how to start and all that stuff..
and for scripting read the documentations and take a look on scripts in 095 distro.
But I just keep getting stuck on the Verifying Account screen.
What's wrong?

Have you setup your login.cfg file in the UO folder to point to your IP and port number? Also is the client still encrypted? If so either download UO Gateway from www.uogateway.com and use that or get UO Rice from http://stud1.tuwien.ac.at/~e9425109/UO_RICE.htm and place that in your UO folder, uncompress the UO_Rice.exe file and run it. It will make a No_Crypt_client.exe file. That is the one you will want to use.
Some other things to check are, if you are running behind a firewall or router, make sure the port is open that your server is setup to listen on (5003 is default POL port).
i installed the auto install version, i changed ip and port number in uo map, and im using uogateway 1.9.1266, i can log in till i see pol as server, but when i select that one i get in the pol screen undefined message type d9, unexpected message type d9 268 bytes. And i cant ghet to screens which names i can select, does anyone know how i can solve this.
Greetings Scoosia

You cant use anything past 4.0.4t on POL095 without using Razor too. The client screws up when it doesnt recieve a reply from POL that it wants.
