For those of us who have no idea maybe you could explain what a "devastation" weapon does exactly.

look in file starteqp.inc in <pol dir>/scripts/include
in that file is where it defines the different bits and pieces as to vanq and stuff... then the item id is alittle tricky but try and trace it because i cant rememeber exactly but the items names are acctaully called when ided they are not stored on the weapon itself
