What does it mean:

Client#329 (x.x.x.x, Acct unknown) sent non-allowed message type 75.

Packet 0x75 is listed as a "Rename Character" packet. I'm sure this isnt used by POL since methods are in place to do it by script instead. Someone is spamming Rename Character and crashing your shard. The only thing you can do is basically try to track if the IP is linked to an account on your shard or ban the IP alltogether. POL095 really doesnt have a way of dealing with packets that crash the shard.

Try Polhook and write custom handler for this packet.

Thanks for you tip Aargh,

I'm just not that experienced with hooks, can you get me a clue on how to handle these packets via PolHooks?

Also, is there a way to handle unknown packet by Polhooks?
