There are a lot of modifications done to the forum to prevent bots from registering automatically. The only ones that post are the ones that register manually. The only way I can think of stopping that is to screen all first posts, but we're doing OK right now deleting them as they pop up.
If you see spam on the forums, don't click it. It takes about 1cm on your screen and shouldn't cause any serious bodily harm if you just leave it alone and wait for us to clean it up.  |
