Ok. First of all I am using Pol097 with Distropackage. But doing new coding for a fully spawned world. Work is going good but there are some things I a stumped about.

Getting in all new weapons and armour to equip my new NPC are going along good. But one thing is wierd. When I or NPC ecuip the item it dosnt show (Well weapons anyway/havent tested armour)

The weapons I am adding are the new AoS ones and using newest client (Dosnt they have the ld graphics?)

So basicly adding:

And giving it to daemon dosnt show graphic on him. On .info he is using it and we all take shitloads of damage Wink

Equiping it itself (on 2d client) Dosnt show it on your paperdoll and its quite hard to get off since you cant see it. Sure you are using it. But taking it off is impossible...

My question is if the ANIM is changed? Looking at the other items in pkg/item/weapons/config/itemdesc.cfg dosnt have those "long hexes for the amin number. Have they changed in the newer cores/distros?

Some weapons (liche staff or something like that), daemon sword, and so on, are only on 3D. Aside from that, the other swords and armor, you MUST have the UOEXpansion for the account set to at least that expansion (AOS in this case) and also look at your UOFeatureEnable info in servspecopt.cfg for stuff. You will need the uofeatureenable changed in order to keep from breaking spellbooks. Read core-changes for info about that.

Beh. I went with the thought that Mondains Legacy expansion (the newest?) included all the others. But dosnt seem like so then...

Is there then any idea of doing all those equipments as you clearly will not be able to use them... For the Distro that is. Since I am going over all spawns and equipments for them...

The issue of "doing" the weapons you are referring to (daemon sword etc) is not a Distro/POL issue. The gumpart for the paperdoll doesn't exist for some of the Mondain's Legacy items in the 2d gumpart file. Those are client side files and are not related to the Distro development team here at POL server.

For some reason OSI/EA has chosen to leave that art out of the 2d client.

I am only going thrue the spawner and then npcs since they spawn and thus I am adding the equipment for them since they should have them. And there the items are. Should I skip those then?

Since you wanted to have AiBrain npcs working but not the equipments for them?

I am dong all and thought it would be good if those where in the distro. It once was in the distro (Ok maybe not AoS and LBR things but the rest...)

Yes it would be good but unfortunately EA Games didn't give us art for them to be equipped on the paperdoll. I'd suggest using some other sword for daemons that need a sword and liches etc.
