just found out that latest build (092 2007-01-02) has some kind of bug that prevents clients from logging on Pol- ip (the public ip)
client gets stuck at "connecting" after chosing the server

this is the servers.cfg i am using

GameServer
{
Name POL local
IP 127.0.0.1
Port 4854
}
GameServer
{
Name POL
IP --lan--
Port 4854
}
GameServer
{
Name POL-ip
IP my-account.dyndns.org
Port 4854
}

Are you sure it wasn't the server resolving the IP correctly (recent ip change and so forth?).

Can you try one more time for me? I am having someone try to connect from IRC to my pc now (through my router).

If you want, you can try also. <now edited out ip> usual POL port Smile

Yeah, that was on my local pc's files. I committed the changes so Shini can do an OFFICIAL build. Keep using the old RC1 until he releases an update (so we can be sure to be able to process any dumps you might get down the road, just in case Very Happy )
